We were pleased to welcome to church family, friends and colleagues of the three men- Andrew Sherwood, Darren Higgins and Paul Surtees- who died in an industrial accident on the Wilton site on 8 August 2001. Every year they meet together on the day of the tragedy to remember and pay tribute to them.
This year the weather was kind and we held the service outside by the Memorial plaque. Afterwards we went inside church for some refreshments and those who came had the chance to catch up and share memories.
